Is Nokia Lumia 520 best smartphone of 2013 ?


Nokia Lumia 520 is the last addition to the current range, sliding in at the very bottom of the pile. While it's the entry-level model, the 520 is far from basic, packing a respectable 800x480 Pixels display and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor and 512MB of RAM which is satisfiable given the price and the phone runs smoothly with hardly any lag.

Nokia Lumia 520 is making its name as the most inexpensive smartphone with all the features it offers. Priced around 100$, this phone stands out from the crowd with all the vibrant colour cases it has on offer. It shares its appears with the higher end models and is good to look at and feel. From all the pluses this phone has, the significant one accepts to be that you can use the phone while wearing gloves which attracts to people living in colder regions.

The right edge of the handset houses altogether of the phones physical buttons, with a volume rocker at the top, a power button near the middle and a camera button approximate the bottom. The layout works well, with the buttons distributed far enough to prevent confusion. The left edge is empty of any features, ports or buttons at all. The top is home only to a 3.5mm headphone port on the left hand side. The bottom edge has a micro USB port in the centre, which is employed for charging or connecting the Nokia Lumia 520 to a computer.

The camera on the Nokia Lumia 520 is pretty basic and have good pictures, you get a 5MP sensor on the back, but it doesn't have any flash and there's no front facing camera at all.
If you look past the fact that its a windows phone, this is the best phone you can buy for the price and it is easy to use with all the features like WiFi, Bluetooth and a decent camera.

Should I buy the Nokia Lumia 520?
The Nokia Lumia 520's crisp, vibrant 4-inch screen is easy than the best displays at this price range and is in fact the same resolution you would find in the more expensive Lumia 720. You get the same Nokia apps  including the superior GPS satellite navigation tool Drive on the 520 that you'll on any of the other Lumias. It's really difficult to recommend the 720 as so many of its features are shared by much cheaper models. The 520, all the same, is unquestionably a fantastic bargain.

It's colorful, easily to fit in the palm of your hand, and you'll be able to replace the back covers when they start to look worn. It doesn't have the same camera skills as its higher-end brothers though. Its 5 mega-pixel camera can't compare to the 720's snapper. If photography is important to you, avoid the 520.
