Packaging for Apple's budget 'iPhone 5C' hits the web
Tech analysts are quite confident about the fact that Apple will be rolling a cheaper version of iPhone. The launch date of the rumored low-budget iPhone is nearing. The official date of which has not been disclosed yet. However, according to the recent rumors, the low-budget iPhone is going to be called iPhone 5C. The photo of the new iPhone 5C has been posted on the Chinese WeiPhone forum site.
The iPhone 5 is going to replaced by its successor device called the iPhone 5S. If you go the leaked photo which we have shared with you, you can know the low-budget version of iPhone is called the iPhone 5C. However, quite less about what C stands for. C may stand for color because in the previous leaked photos of low-budget iPhone on the web, we could see many multi-colored plastic shells. The low-budget iPhone might be available in different colors like the Nokia Lumia devices.
If you look at the plastic covering of the iPhone 5C in the photo, you may feel that the plastic packaging is quite similar to that of the newest iPod touch. The fifth gen iPod touch is available in plastic container that is transparent at the top. Both the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C are slated to come out in the market in September. Even the looks of the iPhone 5C resembles the iPhone 5S except that it comes with a plastic exterior.
Apple has not revealed info on the specs of the iPhone 5C but we can easily guess that it will be low in specs as this will help in making the handset available in low price. Cool thing is you are not limited to the usual black and white colored iPhone, you will be able to choose from a set of vibrant colors like blue, green and yellow.
The only thing we know for certain about the next iPhone is that it will arrive with iOS 7 pre-installed. Described as the biggest change to the operating system since the introduction of the iPhone, the redesign comes courtesy of designer Jony Ive. It includes new icons, a new color pallet, revised fonts and the use of translucency throughout in addition to a number of other changes.
