HTC One max Live Pictures Leak, Fingerprint Scanner Confirmed
We’ve got plenty of info regarding HTC’s upcoming One max, including most of the phablet’s specs sheet. The smartphone also appeared in several spy shoots in the past and now more photos of it have leaked online and confirm that it will come with a fingerprint scanner.
The pictures showing the unannounced HTC One max were published in China via Weibo and show the phone’s new UI, as well as the front and back cameras.
The fingerprint scanner on the back is also confirmed in one of the photos that shows the settings menu for this feature. We also know that HTC One max will bring fans the new Sense 5.5 though it’s unclear what’s different in the upcoming user interface.
Aside from bringing the new Sense 5.5 to users, HTC One max will ship with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.
In addition, it will come with a huge 5.9-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. That’s about 0.2-inch larger than Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 phablet, HTC One max’s main competitor.
Although we thought that HTC’s phablet would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, it appears that it will be equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.7 GHz. The information has been recently leaked via evleaks, but we can’t know for sure until HTC goes official with the smartphone.
HTC One max is also rumored to pack 2GB of RAM and either 16GB of internal memory. No word on microSD card slot for storage expansion yet, but we suspect it will be a feature included within the One max phablet.
It will also sport an UltraPixel rear-facing camera, along with a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. HTC One max will drain energy from a high-capacity 3300 mAh Li-Ion battery. Other highlights of the phablet include NFC (Near Field Communication), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.
